Why take a multivitamin with food?
Some vitamins are fat-soluble and absorb better with a meal, and taking a multivitamin with food helps avoid an upset stomach.
Can I take it with medications?
Ginkgo biloba may interact with blood thinners and some other medications. If you take medications, are pregnant or nursing, have a medical condition or are planning surgery, talk with your healthcare provider before use.
Can I take it with Vitamin D3 5,000 IU?
Yes — they are taken together in the Essential Salud program. The multivitamin adds 10 mcg (400 IU) of vitamin D. If you have questions about your total vitamin D intake, ask your healthcare provider.
