High-potency Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) — 5,000 IU (125 mcg) per softgel to support healthy bones, calcium absorption and immune function. One softgel a day, 60-day supply.

Vitamin D is found in very few foods, and most people make less of it than they need from sunlight — especially those who spend most of their day indoors. Dr. Rico Perez Vitamin D3 provides the same form of vitamin D your skin produces from sunlight, in an easy-to-swallow softgel.

  • 5,000 IU (125 mcg) vitamin D3 per softgel
  • Cholecalciferol — the form your body makes from sunlight
  • Supports healthy bones and teeth by helping the body absorb calcium
  • Supports immune function
  • Just one softgel a day — 60-day supply for about $0.42 per day

Why Vitamin D3?

Vitamin D comes in two main forms: D2 (from plants) and D3 (from animal sources and sunlight). D3 is the form your body naturally produces, and it's the most common form used in supplements. Because vitamin D is fat-soluble, this formula comes in an oil-based softgel and is best taken with a meal.

How to Take

Take one (1) softgel daily with a meal. Each bottle contains 60 softgels — a 60-day supply.

Part of Essential Salud

Vitamin D3 is included in our Essential Salud 60-Day Program, alongside Super Colostrum, EPA Omega-3 Fish Oil and the 70/20 Multivitamin — your complete daily wellness foundation at a $22 savings.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between IU and mcg?

They are two ways to measure the same amount. 5,000 IU of vitamin D3 equals 125 mcg. Newer labels often list both.

Is 5,000 IU a high dose?

Yes, 5,000 IU is a high-potency daily amount. If you also take a multivitamin or other products with vitamin D, or have a medical condition, talk with your healthcare provider about the right total amount for you. Your provider can check your vitamin D level with a simple blood test.

Why take it with a meal?

Vitamin D is fat-soluble, so it is best absorbed with food that contains some fat.

Can I take it with medications?

If you take medications, are pregnant or nursing, or have a medical condition, consult your healthcare provider before use.
